Hello once again from Metro Iraq.
Yes I am still here and look like I will be for a little longer. I just extended my contract another 6 months, but then I will be finished. Time to go home till Cheri gets tired of me and sends me back out on the road.
We have been busy lately. We have a new company in now and as always new people have their own ideas and how they want to do things and think they have something to prove. They don’t think that maybe some of us have been here a while and might know a thing or two about what is going on and what will and won’t work. Anyway, it pays the same.
Not much to report, still quiet up in this area. For the most part the people are behaving and trying to make their country a better place. Training the IP is about the same. You can’t hope for to much with the culture and tribal system as it is they are only going to do so much. Most of the IP work in the area that they are from and their family lives, so as far as unbiased law enforcement --- you can forget it.
I will try to put a couple new pictures up in the next few days so be looking for them. I hope you all enjoyed the others. Cheri is demanding I take a couple of her off and she also wants everyone to know that she is on her knees in the pool, not standing. I like my story and caption better.
Anyway, thanks for the prayers and letters. All are appreciated.
